I took my first PPC instructional flight two years ago. I had never even seen one fly, but a 75 year old lady pilot had just landed and said the instructor was taking people up if I wanted to go! So I left my date sitting there and went for my first flight! I fell in love right away and knew Immediately I needed to learn to fly this awesome machine. I am a cancer patient, almost survivor, 45 years old and love to live life! So this was a way to see life from new "heights".

I Have had my BFI for one year and I have about 55 hours of flying time since starting instruction! I am a member of the Sho Me Chute flyers club which is in Reeds MO (Near Carthage).

As for the photo, We (my boyfriend and I and two other ppc pilots) fly out of Bird Field a very nice grass strip in Willard Missouri (outside Springfield) It is a Powrachute Pegasus and I was coming in on approach!

Thanks,
Calm skies to you!
