Long time USUA member, former Director, BFI and AFI Michael Michalski (USUA #4) passed away at his home in Arizona on June 13, 2006. "Mikey", as he was known to many, may have lost his bout with cancer, but the many years of service that he freely volunteered to ultralighting made every participant in the sport a winner.

USUA is deeply saddened by this news, and sends deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
