very happy to announce another reason to join or renew your USUA membership:
Air & Space Magazine!
USUA members are the best-informed aviators on the planet. For the past 20 years, we have offered the most popular magazine for Ultralighters, Ultralight Flying! Magazine. But members requested additional publications to satisfy their thirst for knowledge. In response, USUA added Ultraflight Magazine for the Powered Parachute enthusiasts, and Kitplanes Magazine for the kit/home builders in our group. Each one is offered to USUA members at a Member's Only discount- helping you save your hard earned dollars for more important things. This Member's Only publication discount is very important to USUA. It allows our members to economically receive the reading material that they desire, and thus become better informed, and safer pilots.
2004 brings another magazine to the list of discounted publications available to USUA members at Member's Only discounts. AIR & SPACE Smithsonian Magazine was created as an extension of the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum. The magazine's charter is to convey the adventure of flight and space travel to an audience with a special interest in the history and technology of aerospace. Its editorial goals are to evoke the various experiences of flight, to examine the received wisdom of aerospace history, and to delight a readership of enthusiasts with a wealth of information and entertainment.
This excellent and one-of-a-kind publication is now available to USUA members for the low annual subscription rate of $19- a savings of $5 over the normal $24 subscription rate. If you are not familiar with Air & Space Magazine, we invite you to try a subscription- you won't be disappointed. It is the highest quality aviation magazine available- anywhere.
Issues are printed bi-monthly, so you will receive a new issue every other month (six total) for the next year. When your USUA membership and subscription renewal notice arrives next year, simply renew your subscription(s) at that time. Please allow 6-8 weeks for a new subscription start-up.
